Adolf was always there on the Golf course three days a week and after his wife got sick two days weekly. He love his morning walk/exercise on the Golf course and enjoyed the game with a passion. He will be greatly missed by his golf buddies at Scarlet, myself, Richard, Jimmy, Bill and the many who knew him at the course. Hope you are playing on the the big golf course in the sky!!!!God be with you !!!!

I have to credit Adolf for my passion for playing hockey. One early Christmas, he gave me my first stick, puck, and Gordie Howe hockey gloves. He then took me to Grenadier pond to try them out. I will dedicate my next goal to his memory.

I have many memories of Adolf at the cottage. He would always yell Geronimo just before diving into the river, his endless Polka music playing, a tomato sandwich and a beer in hand. LOL

My favourite memory of Adolf is from our time at the cottage. Whenever he wanted a beer, he would ask one of his girls to “ Bring me a beer, mouse.” I find myself using this expression sometimes.
