Obituary of Elizabeth Davis

On Monday August 12, 2024 Elizabeth Jayne Morwenna Davis died peacefully after several years of battling complications due to liver disease.

Liz is survived by her brother James Davis and mother Christina (Tina) Stephens. Her grief is shared not only within them but along with all those that had the pleasure of being included within Liz's life.

Despite Liz being born in Calgary, AB she never felt it was the place for her and always
dreamed of a home in England, Nova Scotia, France, or somewhere near the water. While battling the many medical complications she faced, she embarked on a journey across Canada in May of 2024 to settle down in Toronto, ON.

And while Liz's time in Toronto was not long it was where she finally found home. Her colourful language and persistent attitude fit right into the heart of the city, and she was surrounded by caring and loving individuals that held a special place in her heart.

Liz had many accomplishments throughout her career and developed numerous talents and hobbies. Too many to count, but one that was apparent to all was her unique ability to connect. A gift she likely inherited from her deceased father Bradley Davis, this gift of the gab bubbled up in those around her through an effervescent personality that she let light shine through into the darkest of corners. Whether this was a elderly stranger on a park bench or a lifetime friend, her interactions left an impact of poignant connection.

She will be sorely missed by those that have had the opportunity to feel her presence, have a "short" conversation, feel the quip of her joking remarks, or share in a fond memory.

As per her wishes her ashes will embark on a journey of connection across the world and
spread near the ocean where she felt most at home.

Memorials or donations can be made to your local liver research foundation to help raise
awareness and research around this misunderstood organ.
