I am so saddened to hear of Giselle’s untimely death. I was very shocked that her demise came the way it did. My deepest condolences to her family. I had known Giselle for many years before I moved away from Bradford. I met her through the Horticultural Society, and we were both members of the Red Hats, the Danube Centre and later the Ladies who Lunch, or the Lunch bunch, covering a period of about twenty years or so. She was always so passionate about her exploits, whether it was potting up plants for the annual plant sale, making pansy baskets, writing a book or just plain gardening. Which was never “plain.” for Giselle. She was always very interesting to talk to and we discussed many things. She was a joy to know. She was surely loved by all who knew her.
How shameful that there is no sidewalk where there is a residence for senior people.
I know Giselle was an advocate for pedestrian safety in the area and I hope that her very untimely demise will become a focal point in the drive to get this accomplished. With much sadness. Janet Mills
